'INCIDENT REPORT'  There was a bit tension, anxiety, panick & fear in Ambang & Mabo communities of Richa district of Bokkos LGA. This was as a result of misunderstanding b/w a native of Mabo village & boys brigade of Ambang village who barricade a road during church service on Sunday 23rd April 2017 around 10am. The said native of Mabo was on his way to a clinic in Richa with his wife & a sick daughter when he was stopped & denied access to the only road. He was reported to have forced his way which angered the boys brigade who in turn beat him severely. Upon escaping to Mabo(his village), he reported that his daughter was killed by the people of Ambang & that he was nearly killed too. The people of Mabo in thier large numbers & well armed carried a reprisal attack on Ambang village & in the process shot one person who died on transit to hospital. The people of Ambang had vowed to avenge the dead-of one of thier member. Eventhough securities were alerted &deployed in the area; there exist tension & fear of possible reprisal attack from any of the two villages. There was no movement of people on the said road as a result of the incident. At the time of writing this report, there was no any breakdown of law & other as a result of presence of the securities.
